Our Cultures: "We are all different branches of the same tree"
This week the Mighty Minions were learning about the different cultures of each class member. It was really interesting listening to the music from the different cultures and researching information.
We created a class cultural tree to represent how we are all different but joined together as well. The kite represents us all soaring to success.
Have a look at some of the photos and comments the children made:

"Our cultural tree looks really cool. I liked learning about different cultures."- Ngaau |

First we decorated the tree by adding lots of different brown stuff onto it, this was fun- Sio

|
Next we added the title, words and grass. We made the grass out of flowers and ribbon- Chelsie |
|
After that we added the leaves, we decorated them with our photos and found out facts about the cultures- Helen |

Finally, we made the kite. We used different patterns to stick on it. Mine was a Maori pattern- CJ |
We hope you like our cultural tree, feel free to come check it out!
