We went on a bear hunt ...

and we weren't scared!

Today the Mighty Minions did lots of activities about our trip to the Botanical Gardens for our Teddy Bear's Picnic. We created and innovated a lot of different bear art and treasures.

Lets see what the Mighty Minions had to say about our day:

TEDDIES IN A BLANKET BISCUITS :

Making our teddy biscuits was yummy and exciting- Timoti

"WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT" WALL DISPLAY:
Look at our amazing display! We used different textures and paints to recreate the story "We're going on a bear hunt".
We added our cup puppets to the display as well.

For the long wavy grass we added shredded paper, for the cold river we added blue feathers and ripples, for the oozy mud we added brown feathers and different brown swirls. The forest is made out of leaves, feathers and shredded paper. Finally the swirling whirling snowstorm has cotton balls and blue ribbons added in patterns and shapes by the children. Miss Longstaff created the narrow gloomy cave.

All the children created different patterns based on the theme for the display. Well done Minions, Miss Longstaff is very proud of your amazing effort.

COCONUT BEARS AND TEDDY ART- on its way to completion.
We covered our polar bears in coconut shavings, tomorrow we will add the eyes.

This is the start of our painted bears. We will be adding adjectives to describe our bears tomorrow.
